Wolfgang Puck soup - $1.62 or less if you have the coupon from 1/09
Deans Dips - $1.07 or less if you have the coupon from 1/23
Krusteaz cookie mix - $1.24 or less if you have the 12/05 coupon

Stock up on office supplies at Staples this week for FREE

HARRIS TEETER

They have the most on sale this week for my family, so the majority of my shopping will be done here.

e-vic item - Capri Sun 10 ct $1.77 (you must sign up to recieve their sale ad by email to get this offer - there is at least one offer each week that is good, so I recommend signing up) - also they are running a special this week if you buy the Capri Sun, you get a pack of HT brand PB crackers - so if you buy w/o the e-vic its $1.97 for the Capri Suns and you get the free pack of crackers with it

Peter Pan PB - $1.67 - .50 from 1/02 paper = $0.67 ea
McCormick spices - $1 off - .75 from 1/02 paper - gonna see what the prices show for spices I use often (I usually buy in bulk from Earth Fare, but this may make for a good deal)

Tips for shopping the area grocery stores

Here are a couple tips for shopping your local grocery stores.

Harris Teeter:
* Sign up for their VIC program for the sales each week
* Sign up for their eVIC program online for even better savings including unadvertised specials/ personalized shopping lists/ eCoupon program and more perks!
*Coupons double up to $0.75 each (meaning that a .75 coupon is worth $1.50)
* Occasionally they do Super Doubles (coupons up to $1.98 double meaning that $1.50 coupon is worth $3) or Triple Coupons (means that your 0.50 coupon is worth $1.50)
* is in my opinion the best store for maximizing your grocery dollar!

Bi-Lo:
*Sign up for their Bonus Card for the sales each week
*If you take the survey that prints on your receipt each time you shop, you get a coupon for a free item on your next visit
*Coupons up to $0.60 double (means that coupon is worth $1.20)
* is my second fave store for super deals!

Food Lion:
*Sign up for their MVP card for the sales each week
*Offers printable coupons each week if you sign up to receive their sale ad in your inbox - sometimes these are really good coupons and usually they match up with a sale and can be coupled with a manufacture coupon
*They DO NOT double coupons, so I find that most of the deals I get there are not related to manufacture coupons - if you are not a coupon shopper, you may find you like Food Lion b/c there are great deals on stuff that does not require a coupon for the price
*I find that I don't buy a lot at Food Lion, but occasionally they have some super prices on meat/veggies and other stuff

Ingles:
*Sign up for their Advantage card for the sales each week
*Coupons up to $0.50 double and occasionally they do a Triple Coupon week which can make some great sales
*I find that the least of my grocery budget is spent here - the sales are not all that great most weeks, and Harris Teeter and Bi-Lo double coupons for a greater value - but I do hit Ingles about once every couple to three weeks if they have something I am low on at a good enough price

Week of 12/15 - 12/21 Bi-Lo Ad Deals

**Ham $0.89 lb for a shank portion (requires an additional $35 purchase) - I think its worth the extra $$ per pound to purchase at Ingles or Food Lion unless you are already going to Bi-Lo.

Week of 12/12- 12/18 Ingles Sale Ad

Here are the deals this week at Ingles - if you normally shop there or have one close to you and want to drop by and pick up some items for yourself or the food pantry. Jenny does a great job on that site of matching your manufacture coupons to the sales and even has a printable list feature so you can just click what you want to buy and print out your personalized shopping list! I love her site.

**Frozen turkey breasts - $1.24 lb (cheaper at Food Lion if you have one near you - I do and I plan on purchasing several for later and keeping them in the freezer - they cook up great in a crock pot)

Week of 12/15 - 12/21 Food Lion Ad Deals

If you normally shop at a Food Lion or are close to one and want to pick up some good deals, here are the ones that I see in the ad that catch my eye. She does an awesome job of providing a complete listing of the grocery sales coupled with coupons that match up if you use those. She also has it set so you can check off the items you want to purchase and print out your shopping list. ** Smithfield ham (spirals are $1.55 w/ a $15 additional purchase and shanks are $0.99 lb (no additional purchase needed) - these are some of the lowest prices per pound I have seen since last Christmas, so if you have freezer space, I would purchase 2 for later)
** 10lb bags of fresh chicken leg quarters - $0.59 lb
** Frozen Turkey Breasts - $0.97 lb (these are super good in the crock pot)

Veggies:
** 5 lb bags Russet potatoes - B1G1F making them $1.50 a bag or $0.30lb
